I have never been more grateful for Pilates and my personal practice.
My body feels tighter than it ever has. I spend a large part of my day slightly hunched over while breastfeeding my little boy. My hips feel tighter than normal, and my ankles are even getting sore from Pilates (definitely a first for me).
And yet, every time I begin to warm up my body, move my spine in every direction, and reconnect with my breath, I fall more in love with Pilates.
Because Pilates meets my body exactly where it is.
That’s the beauty of Pilates for every season of life, it adapts as your body adapts.
It’s not always easy, but I feel better every single time I practice.

Yesterday at our cookie exchange, I was speaking with a client who shared something that really stuck with me.
