Reflecting on a Year of Growth at Orofino Wellness

Now is the time to reflect.

You know those year-end newsletters some families write and send out to their people? This year, I found myself wishing I had written one, not necessarily to send, but simply to pause and reflect.

2025 was an incredible year, both professionally and personally, and so much of that came from intentional growth, meaningful relationships, and a deeply supportive community.

So instead of keeping it to myself, I’m sharing it here.

A Year of Growth and Expansion

One of the biggest milestones this year was growth: real, tangible growth.

In January, we opened our second studio on William Street, allowing us to better serve our community without overcrowding classes as demand continued to rise. This expansion marked a major step forward in our journey and ensured we could maintain the quality, care, and attention our clients deserve.

Building a Stronger Team From the Inside Out

This year, we proudly welcomed our first full-time employees, Lily and Faith.

  • Lily focuses on teacher development, supporting instructors as they grow into confident, skilled educators.

  • Faith leads marketing, helping us communicate our mission and values clearly and authentically.

Two of the best humans that I’ve met. You and I are blessed to have them

Investing in Education and Instructor Development

Another cornerstone of our growth was education.

Throughout the year, we hosted Pilates trainings designed to spread the Pilates love, deepen understanding of the method, and strengthen our teaching team. These trainings allowed us to invest in long-term growth, not just for the studio, but for the instructors who bring Pilates to life every day.

We also welcomed new teachers to the team: Mary, Faith, Tracey, Alicia, and Khiara. Each brings something uniquely special (passion, skill, curiosity, and heart) and each has played an important role in our evolving studio culture.

Mentorship as a Foundation for Sustainable Growth

We launched a mentor program for up-and-coming instructors.

This program allows newer teachers to build confidence, refine their skills, and feel supported as they step into their roles. By nurturing talent from within, we’re staying ahead of the curve while maintaining the integrity and quality of our instruction.

Our First Annual Retreat: A Weekend of Self-Care

This year also marked a very special first: our first annual retreat.

We had the opportunity to guide an incredible group of people through a weekend centered on self-care, connection, and rest. It was a reminder that growth doesn’t always mean doing more, sometimes it means slowing down together.

(And yes, our next retreat is already in the works.)

Personal Milestones Alongside Professional Growth

Alongside the studio’s growth, life continued to grow in beautiful ways.

Becca welcomed her sweet baby, Florence, and I welcomed my third pudding pop, Lorenzo.

Gratitude for Our Community

Growth is hard work, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’m endlessly grateful for our team and our community. You are the reason this is all possible. You are the reason we show up every day. And you are the reason we’re excited to keep growing in 2026.

I can’t wait to share what’s next at Orofino Wellness.

Wishing you the absolute best this coming week. May you enjoy every bite, every breath, and every minute with the people you love.
